The 2026 edition introduces a new Special Award for Thailand: the MICHELIN Guide Mentor Chef Award, recognizing chefs who develop future talent. David Thompson, owner-chef of Aksorn (One MICHELIN Star) and Chop Chop Cook Shop (MICHELIN Selected), receives the inaugural award.
