APPOINTMENTS
The Fern Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of five new General Managers across several regional properties.
These strategic leadership appointments in key business and leisure locations, including Sakleshpur, Jalna, Goa, Igatpuri, and Junagadh, are made to strengthen on-ground management, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate guest experiences.
Barun Nayak – General Manager, Tapovana The Fern Heritage Resort, Sakleshpur

Barun Nayak holds 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry spanning across a variety of sectors like hotel operations and holiday activity management.
In this role, Barun will oversee hotel operations, manage budgets and ensure the achievement of gross operating profit targets. His professional journey includes key roles at reputed hospitality brands such as Club Mahindra Holidays and Sterling Holidays.
Chandan Chowdhury – General Manager, Siddharth The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Jalna

Chandan Chowdhury brings over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry with expertise in food and beverage operations, guest experience and hotel management.
He has worked with leading brands such as Jaypee Group, InterContinental and The Lalit.
Before this, he held leadership positions at Le Royal Meridien Chennai and most recently served as Director of Food and Beverage at Hotel Royal Orchid Bangalore.
In his new role, Chandan will oversee hotel operations, drive business growth, and enhance guest satisfaction.
Anshu Mishra – General Manager, The Fern Residency Calangute- Baga, Goa

Anshu holds 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has extensive expertise in hotel pre-openings, budgeting, operational streamlining and brand standards implementation.
He has previously worked with brands such as Lemon Tree Hotels, Evoke Hotels, etc. Before joining The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Anshu served as Cluster General Manager at Evoke Hotels, Goa.
In his new role, he will focus on delivering operational excellence, strengthening team capabilities and enhancing the hotel’s regional presence.
Joseph Jacob – General Manager, Rakabi The Fern-An Ecotel Hotel, Igatpuri

Joseph holds over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry. He began his career in the food and beverage department and progressed through various leadership roles.
His professional journey includes significant tenures with Lemon Tree and Sarovar Hotels, where he played a key role in driving operational success.
In his new role at The Fern, Rakabi, Joseph is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, managing financial performance, and ensuring a guest-centric approach across all departments.
Vivek Dubey – General Manager, The Fern Leo Resort & Club, Junagadh

With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Vivek Dubey brings strategic leadership and operational excellence to his role at The Fern Leo Resort and Club, Junagadh.
Beginning his career in food and beverage, Vivek has worked with renowned hospitality brands such as Clarks Group of Hotels and Fortune Park Bella Casa.
In his new role at The Fern Leo Resort, Vivek will oversee all aspects of resort operations, from financial planning to guest experience management.
