Sofitel Introduces LeVestiaire Global Wardrobe Designed by Cordelia de Castellane

Sofitel has introduced LeVestiaire, a new global wardrobe developed in partnership with French designer Cordelia de Castellane. Inspired by Parisian style, the collection provides versatile options for staff uniforms at Sofitel’s locations worldwide.

LeVestiaire has been created to support Sofitel’s 25,000 employees across departments, including Front Office and Housekeeping, allowing teams to dress comfortably, with personality, and easily while reflecting the brand’s French design identity. The collection emphasizes mix-and-match pieces that combine tailored structure with everyday practicality.

Comprising more than 45 garments and a selection of accessories, the wardrobe includes refined tailoring, hand-drawn prints, and monogram details that reference Sofitel’s visual identity. Designed with inclusivity in mind, the pieces are adaptable to different cultures, climates, body shapes, and hotel environments, enabling each property to curate looks suited to its local context while maintaining brand consistency.

LeVestiaire will begin rolling out across Sofitel’s 120 hotels worldwide from the end of 2026. Properties ranging from city hotels to resorts and residences will be able to interpret the collection in line with their individual character and location.

Employees are encouraged to create their own combinations from the collection, choosing silhouettes and pairings that suit their roles and personal preferences. Items such as the Gilet Cintré are offered in multiple variations and can be styled with different trousers or skirts, supporting flexibility across functions and settings.

Commenting on the launch, Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblems, said the collection reflects the brand’s current renewal and underscores the importance of extending this focus on design and care to its teams. She noted that the collaboration aligns staff presentation with the evolving look and feel of Sofitel properties worldwide.

Cordelia de Castellane explained that the concept was built around freedom of choice rather than fixed uniforms, allowing individuals to select looks appropriate to their role and environment while remaining connected to Sofitel’s French heritage.

The collection is defined by a colour palette of navy blue, coconut milk, beige, and denim blue, chosen for versatility and consistency across environments. Accessories such as belts and scarf brooches feature Sofitel’s Cultural Link motif, while the brand’s logo is reinterpreted through monogram prints on selected garments.

Sofitel is part of Accor, which operates more than 5,700 properties worldwide and manages the ALL Accor booking and loyalty platform.
