Tivoli Palazzo 1880 Lecce Brings the Brand to Puglia

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has opened Tivoli Palazzo 1880 Lecce Hotel, marking the brand’s debut in Puglia and expanding its presence in Italy with a fourth property.

Located in the heart of Lecce, the restored 19th-century palazzo features 48 rooms and suites, signature dining venues, a rooftop lounge and a dedicated wellness area, offering guests a stay that reflects the city’s cultural heritage.

A Historic Hotel in the Centre of Lecce

Situated on Via Imperatore Augusto, the hotel is within walking distance of Piazza Sant’Oronzo, Piazzetta Santa Chiara, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Basilica di Santa Croce and Lecce Cathedral.

Following an extensive restoration, the property combines its historic architecture with modern hospitality while preserving the character of the original building, which dates back to the 19th century.

Accommodation and Dining

The hotel offers 48 guestrooms, including 13 suites, ranging from Superior and Deluxe Rooms to larger suites with private wellness features. The Presidential Suite includes a private terrace overlooking the Roman Amphitheatre.

Guests can dine across three venues:

  • Godot Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine made with seasonal, local ingredients.
  • Rooftop Terrace & Lounge Bar, offering views across Lecce and its cathedral.
  • Lobby Bar, providing a relaxed setting for drinks and light refreshments.

Wellness Facilities

The wellness area includes:

  • Two treatment rooms
  • Indoor heated saltwater pool
  • Steam room
  • Sauna
  • Relaxation lounge with a herbal tea corner
  • Fully equipped fitness centre with access to the rooftop area

Guests also have access to selected beach clubs along both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts, as well as a partner swimming pool located a short drive from the hotel.

Meetings and Local Experiences

Open year-round, the hotel includes two event spaces suitable for meetings, private gatherings, and celebrations for up to 40 guests, depending on the layout.

Its central location also provides convenient access to the Salento region, nearby beaches, Lecce railway station and Brindisi Airport, making it an ideal base for exploring southern Italy.

The opening of Tivoli Palazzo 1880 Lecce Hotel expands Tivoli Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio in Italy alongside its properties in Sistiana, Florence and Milan.
