IHCL Appoints Spiridon Sarantopoulos as Senior Vice President – Operations, Europe & USA

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has appointed Spiridon Sarantopoulos as Senior Vice President – Operations for Europe and the USA. In this role, he will oversee operations across IHCL’s international portfolio in these regions.

Sarantopoulos brings extensive experience in the global hospitality sector, with a career spanning over three decades. He has been associated with IHCL since 2024, serving as General Manager at The Pierre, New York, a Taj Hotel.

Prior to joining IHCL, he held multiple senior leadership positions with Deutsche Hospitality, including Vice President – Luxury Hotels and Area General Manager for the Mitte region. During this period, he also served as General Manager at properties such as Frankfurter Hof, a Steigenberger Icon, Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin, and Steigenberger Grandhotel Petersberg.

Earlier in his career, he was General Manager at Hotel Sofitel Cologne and spent over 16 years with Accor in various leadership roles across multiple locations.

With experience in hotel operations, luxury hospitality management, and multi-property leadership, Sarantopoulos has led teams and managed operations across Europe and international markets.

In his current role, he will focus on overseeing operational performance, supporting brand standards, and strengthening the brand’s presence across Europe and the United States.
