Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has announced the appointment of K.L. Ramakrishnan as its new  Director of Engineering.

Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has appointed K.L. Ramakrishnan as the new Director of Engineering.

Ramakrishnan brings over 14 years of extensive experience in hospitality engineering, holding expertise in technical operations, project management, and sustainability-driven initiatives.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of Engineering at Taj Skyline Ahmedabad, where he led engineering operations for a luxury property. He has also held key positions with leading hospitality brands, including Marriott International, Accor Hotels, The Leela Hotels & Resorts, and The Lalit. Ramakrishnan has also managed multi-property engineering operations at Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott, Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru.

In his new role, K.L. Ramakrishnan will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s engineering operations, including maintenance of plant and machinery, energy management, safety systems and infrastructure efficiency. He will also play a key role in ensuring operations across all technical functions while enhancing guest comfort. 

Over the course of his career, he has led several large-scale projects, including plant upgrades, energy optimization initiatives, and post-pandemic restoration of critical engineering systems. His expertise spans HVAC systems, fire and life safety, water treatment, and preventive maintenance, sustainable energy conservation and resource management.
