Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways expand partnership with new codeshare flights
Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways have announced the launch of new codeshare flights covering 19 destinations, with additional routes to be introduced later. Under this agreement, Kenya Airways customers can book codeshare flights between Nairobi and Doha, as well as flights to 10 destinations connected through Hamad International Airport in Doha.
Meanwhile, Qatar Airways passengers will gain access to eight destinations within Kenya Airways’ African network, operated through the three daily flights between Doha and Nairobi. The codeshare flights will begin on 26 October 2025, with tickets available for sale from 21 October.

Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer, Qatar Airways, said: “We are pleased with the progress made since our partnership with Kenya Airways began. This expanded collaboration strengthens our network in Kenya and across Africa, supported by the recent addition of a third daily flight to Nairobi.”
Julius Thairu, Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Kenya Airways, said: “This partnership will enhance connectivity across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, offering customers more travel options and a smoother journey.”
The expanded partnership allows Qatar Airways to strengthen its presence in Africa by providing easier access to key destinations served by Kenya Airways, including Lilongwe, Livingstone, Juba, Nampula, Ndola, and Victoria Falls.
Kenya Airways customers will now be able to connect through Doha to destinations across Asia and the Middle East, such as Bahrain, Colombo, Islamabad, Karachi, Malé, Singapore, and Tokyo Narita. Members of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club will be able to earn Avios on codeshare flights operated by Kenya Airways. Both airlines plan to expand their cooperation beyond codeshares to include airport operations, lounges, sustainability, procurement, cargo, and aircraft maintenance.
