O’Vetra Lounge Opens at Trichy Airport, Enhancing Passenger Experience with Regional Flair

O’Vetra blends comfort, culture, and convenience, drawing inspiration from the successful 080 spaces at Kempegowda International Airport. This new addition aims to bring thoughtful hospitality to Trichy’s growing passenger base.

Rooted in local identity, the space features design elements such as a Kolam-inspired reception wall, cane and bamboo details, terracotta textures, and a calming palette inspired by the Kaveri River and the Rock Fort Temple.
Spanning 450 sqm (domestic) and 620 sqm (international), it accommodates 107 and 150 guests, respectively. Areas are designed for both solo and group travellers, with a focus on accessibility and intuitive design.
George Kuruvilla, CEO of BASL, said, “Our vision is to build spaces that reflect the region and enhance the travel experience. O’Vetra is a meaningful step in taking that vision beyond Bengaluru.”
Amenities include live culinary counters, buffet offerings, and a bar with menus rotating across meal periods. High-speed Wi-Fi, PRM-friendly design, showers (international section), and dedicated rest zones complete the experience.
BASL’s Meet & Greet and porter services are also available at the airport. For bookings, call 080-66785566 / 8438825281 or email [email protected].
O’Vetra signals BASL’s intent to scale its regionally inspired hospitality model across more Indian airports.
