Nautika Strengthens Andaman Tourism Network with 2,000 Agents

Nautika has expanded its travel trade network to more than 2,000 agents across India, reflecting steady growth over the past five years.

According to the company, the network has grown at an annual rate of 10–20% and includes stakeholders across the tourism value chain, such as ticketing agents, accommodation providers, transport operators, activity vendors and local guides.

Long-Term Partnerships Support Growth

Nautika indicated that several early partners continue to remain part of its network, contributing to operational continuity and expansion. The company attributes this to ongoing engagement with trade partners and a focus on service coordination across the travel ecosystem.

Anoop Kumar

Anoop Kumar, Partner & Director at Nautika, says, “When a traveller books with Nautika, the benefit doesn’t stop with us. It reaches the cab driver, the homestay family, and the guide at the reef. Our agent network is a livelihood network, and we have always taken that seriously. Growing it thoughtfully—year after year—is one of the most important things we do.”

Role in Local Tourism Economy

Tourism remains a key economic driver in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The company stated that its agent network enables bookings through locally based operators, supporting small-scale businesses such as homestays, transport providers and independent service operators.

Trade Engagement and Industry Outreach

The company has participated in industry events such as SATTE, Outbound Travel Mart and Travel and Tourism Mart, which have contributed to expanding its partner base. These platforms have facilitated connections with travel agents and vendors, including those without prior engagement in the Andaman market.

International Expansion Plans

With an established domestic network, Nautika is exploring partnerships with international travel agents and tour operators. The company is targeting markets such as Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, where interest in the Andaman Islands is increasing.
