Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has opened applications for the Face of the Future 2026 award, with submissions accepted until June 15, 2026.
PATA Seeks Next Generation of Industry Leaders
The award recognises young professionals in the travel and tourism industry who demonstrate leadership, initiative and a commitment to sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region. The programme has been conducted annually by PATA for nearly 25 years.

According to Pacific Asia Travel Association, the selected winner will receive sponsorship to attend the PATA Travel Mart 2026 (PTM 2026), scheduled to take place in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Noor Ahmad Hamid, CEO, PATA, stated, “The PATA Face of the Future is the Association’s most prominent award for young talents; a great motivation for the next generation to pursue the path that leads to a difference. This year, as the award also coincides with PATA’s 75th Anniversary, we would be delighted to celebrate a new face of leadership at the beginning of our new chapter, and look forward to seeing how they set the standards for the generation that follows.
The winner will also be offered a seat on the PATA Board, along with opportunities to participate as a speaker at selected PATA and partner events. Additional benefits include media exposure through PATA’s communication channels and access to mentorship initiatives, including involvement in the PATA Youth Mentorship Programme.
The award is being organised as part of PATA’s broader engagement with young professionals and coincides with the organisation’s 75th anniversary.
Winners will also be featured in the 2026 Face of the Future e-booklet and on official platforms.
