APPOINTMENTS
Marriott International has announced three new senior appointments as part of a strategic realignment across its global regions.
This announcement follows after the retirement of two long-serving executives from the company. The new appointments will take effect from March 28, 2026.
Liam Brown, Group President, U.S. and Canada, and Brian King, President, Enterprise Transformation & Caribbean and Latin America (CALA), will step down from their current roles at the end of March and retire from the company at the end of June 2026.
Effective March 28, 2026, Satya Anand, currently President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), will assume the role of Group President, U.S., Canada and CALA. Neal Jones, currently Chief Operating Officer for Europe and Africa and Global Leader Design Hotels, will become President, EMEA. Federico “Fede” Greppi, currently Chief Operating Officer for CALA, will step into the role of President, CALA.
Anand and Jones will serve on Marriott’s executive leadership team and report to Anthony Capuano, President and Chief Executive Officer of Marriott International. Greppi will report to Anand.

While we will miss Liam and Brian, we are grateful for their decades of service and the lasting legacy they leave behind.”
Liam Brown joined Marriott in 1989 as General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Syracuse, New York. During his nearly 40-year career, he held leadership roles across multiple regions, advancing franchising, brand management and select-service operations, and overseeing portfolio growth in both EMEA and the U.S. and Canada.
Brian King spent more than 30 years at Marriott, most recently leading Enterprise Transformation and CALA. Under his leadership, the CALA portfolio expanded to 37 countries and territories. He also led the acquisition of the City Express brand and supported expansion in the all-inclusive segment.
Satya Anand joined Marriott in 1988 as a Night Auditor at the Vienna Marriott Hotel and has held senior roles across operations, finance and design. Since 2020, he has served as President, EMEA, overseeing portfolio growth to more than 1,300 properties. In his new role, he will oversee the U.S., Canada and CALA under a unified regional structure. Anand will relocate to the United States and be based at Marriott’s global headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.
Neal Jones brings three decades of Marriott experience in sales, marketing and operations. As President, EMEA, he will oversee operations across nearly 80 countries and territories and more than 1,300 properties representing 30 brands. Jones is based in the United Kingdom and is a graduate of Hotelschool The Hague.
Federico “Fede” Greppi has more than 22 years of hospitality experience, including 13 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. As President, CALA, he will lead a region spanning more than 500 properties across 37 markets. Greppi holds an MBA from London Business School and will continue to be based in South Florida
