Lords Hotels & Resorts Reports FY2025 Performance; Expands Footprint Across Emerging Markets
Lords Hotels & Resorts reported its financial and operational performance for FY2025, citing growth in revenue and expansion across multiple locations, amid a mixed macroeconomic environment for the hospitality sector.
Lords Hotels & Resorts Adds 18 Properties, Reports FY2025 Performance
During FY2025–26, the Indian hotel industry saw a rise in domestic tourism, contributing to improved occupancy levels and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room). Changes in GST rates introduced greater uniformity, which supported affordability, particularly within the mid-scale segment. However, global geopolitical developments, including Operation Sindoor, ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, and trade-related challenges involving the United States, influenced energy costs and inbound travel trends. Additionally, extreme weather events affected operations in certain destinations.
Against this backdrop, Lords Hotels & Resorts reported double-digit revenue growth across its portfolio. The company attributed this performance to higher occupancy rates and improved average room revenues, alongside contributions from food and beverage operations.
In 2025, the group added 18 new properties across locations such as Bettiah, Bhopal, Chintpurni, Gir, Goa, Joshimath, Katra, Kota, Mandi, Nanded, Purulia, Rajkot, Sagara, Salangpur, Sanand, Shivamogga, Udaipur, and Chitwan (Nepal). The expansion is part of its stated goal to reach 100 operational hotels by 2030.
Financial and Operational Highlights
- Revenue Growth: The company reported a sustained increase in topline performance, supported by RevPAR growth and food and beverage revenues.
- Operational Efficiency: Process optimization and technology adoption contributed to improved operational efficiency.
- Guest Experience: The company introduced service protocols and curated experiences aimed at improving guest satisfaction.
- Sustainability: Initiatives such as energy-efficient operations and waste reduction programs were implemented across properties.
