K Raheja Group and IHG Mark Progress on Mumbai Hotel Project with Pre-Opening Ceremony

A pre-opening puja ceremony was held for an upcoming hospitality development in Mumbai, being developed by the K Raheja Group in partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts. The project is located in Powai and is scheduled to open in 2026.
The ceremony was hosted by Vijayta Raheja and Nikhil K Raheja, along with Sudeep Jain. The event was attended by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis.
The development comprises a dual hotel complex along with a convention centre and is positioned as part of Mumbai’s expanding hospitality and events infrastructure. The project is expected to include approximately 300 rooms, 13 meeting spaces, multiple food and beverage outlets, landscaped lawns, and dedicated areas for public and private events.
The collaboration between the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts aims to deliver an integrated hospitality offering catering to both business and leisure travellers, as well as the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) segment.
Speaking at the event, Vijayta Raheja said, “Maharashtra continues to lead as one of India’s most progressive and investment-friendly states, driven by a strong focus on infrastructure, ease of doing business, and forward-looking governance under the leadership of our dynamic Chief Minister. Developments such as these further strengthen the state’s position as a preferred destination for tourism, business, and global investments.”

CM Devendra Fadnavis highlighted the role of large-scale integrated hospitality developments in supporting tourism and business activity. He noted that such projects contribute to strengthening Mumbai’s position as a destination for meetings and events, and acknowledged the collaboration between the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
The project reflects ongoing investments in large-format hospitality infrastructure in Mumbai, with a focus on expanding capacity for conferences and events. The ceremony marked a step forward in the development, which is expected to contribute to the city’s hospitality and tourism ecosystem upon completion.
