JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort Expands Engagement with India Through Curated Hi-Tea Showcases

JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort has continued to strengthen its engagement with the Indian market through a series of curated Hi-Tea showcases, designed as afternoon interactions focused on luxury hospitality, relationship-building, and evolving travel preferences within India’s premium segment.

Representing the resort, Ms. Paravee Mavichak, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Mr. Naushad Ahmed, Director of Sales, led discussions with key industry stakeholders. The conversations provided insights into the resort’s positioning, highlighting its approach to mindful luxury, immersive island experiences, and customised offerings aligned with the expectations of Indian travellers seeking experience-led holidays.

Commenting on the importance of the Indian market, Ms. Paravee Mavichak said that the showcases were designed to encourage meaningful dialogue beyond conventional presentations, with a focus on personalised travel experiences and long-term collaboration with partners.

The afternoon showcases were held in Mumbai, in association with OA Globe DMC, and New Delhi, in collaboration with Bingo Holidays. The events brought together travel agents, industry partners, and select media representatives, creating a platform for open exchange and collaboration.

Further perspectives were shared by Mr. Satyeash Pai and Ms. Simmi Pai from TAWI LUSH, who contributed insights on experiential travel trends and partnership opportunities within the luxury travel ecosystem.

These engagements formed part of the resort’s broader strategy to build brand awareness and strengthen trade relationships in India, reinforcing its focus on partnership-led growth and consistent engagement with one of its key source markets.
