IHG Hotels & Resorts Introduces Vignette Collection in the Maldives with Noku Maldives
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Noku Maldives, a Vignette Collection property, marking the entry of the Vignette Collection brand into the Maldives. The addition of Noku Maldives expands IHG’s portfolio of distinct hotels designed to offer meaningful travel experiences.
Located in the Noonu Atoll, Noku Maldives features 50 private beach and overwater villas, some with pools, surrounded by white sands and clear lagoons. Each villa integrates contemporary design with locally inspired materials to create a relaxed island atmosphere.
“We are pleased to welcome guests to Noku Maldives as part of IHG’s Vignette Collection – a brand that values individuality and authentic connections,” said Hussain Shahid, General Manager, Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection.
“Our team has refined every aspect of the guest journey, from updated culinary concepts and curated experiences to new signature rituals, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay.”
The resort’s dining options highlight local ingredients and regional flavours. Palms Restaurant and Bar offers beachfront dining with grilled dishes and stunning sea views. At the same time, Thari serves a diverse menu featuring Maldivian, Indian, and Sri Lankan cuisines, all set beside the pool. Guests can also enjoy private dining, picnics on nearby sandbanks, dinners on villa decks, or floating breakfasts in their private pools.

The Noku Spa offers wellness experiences inspired by traditional Maldivian healing practices, utilizing natural ingredients like coconut oil and local botanicals. Treatments focus on relaxation, balance, and connection to the island’s surroundings.
As part of IHG’s Vignette Collection, the resort reflects the brand’s hallmarks of Memorable Rituals and A Means for Good.
Memorable Rituals at Noku Maldives include Island Echoes, an evening storytelling gathering by a bonfire, where guests listen to tales of local seafarers and island life.
A Means for Good initiatives at the resort support local communities and the environment. Activities include a weekly Fisherman’s Visit that helps fund local schools and women’s committees, as well as coral restoration and sea turtle conservation projects in collaboration with local NGOs.
Since its introduction in 2021, the Vignette Collection has expanded to multiple destinations worldwide, with 19 hotels now open and 34 in development across various regions, including Japan and China.
Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection is now open for bookings, with rates starting from USD 613++ per night, inclusive of breakfast.
