Located near Bagdogra International Airport, the hotel will cater to business and transit travellers visiting Siliguri. The city serves as a gateway to the Eastern Himalayas, North-East India, and the neighbouring countries of Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan, making it a strategic hub for regional connectivity.

As part of IHG’s global Holiday Inn Express brand portfolio, which focuses on efficient, comfortable stays, the new property will feature the brand’s Generation 5 design. The design includes flexible workspaces and contemporary interiors suited to the needs of modern travellers.

Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are pleased to announce the signing of Holiday Inn Express Siliguri Bagdogra Airport. This development reflects our continued focus on expanding in key gateway cities across India. The Holiday Inn Express brand continues to offer reliable experiences for guests and a strong value proposition for our partners.”

Avinash Tiwari, Managing Director, DC Constructions, added: “Our partnership with IHG for this project aligns with our vision to contribute to Siliguri’s growing role as a commercial and travel hub. We believe this hotel will add to the region’s hospitality infrastructure and support local tourism and business travel.”

Holiday Inn Express Siliguri Bagdogra Airport joins the brand’s portfolio of 17 operating hotels in India, with 21 more in the pipeline.
