IHCL Receives Jamnalal Bajaj Award for Fair Business Practices
Recognition Highlights Governance and ESG Framework
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has received the 38th Jamnalal Bajaj Award (2025–2026) for Fair Business Practices in the Service Enterprises – Large category.
The recognition reflects the company’s approach to governance, ethics and responsible business practices across its operations. IHCL follows its ESG+ framework, Paathya, which focuses on transparency, accountability and long-term value creation.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, said that governance and ethical practices remain central to the company’s operations. He added that the recognition reflects IHCL’s efforts to embed fair and responsible practices across its business.
The Jamnalal Bajaj Awards are presented by the Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP), an organization established in 1966 by business leaders, including J.R.D. Tata, Ramkrishna Bajaj, Ashok Birla, Arvind Mafatlal, S. P. Godrej, Harish Mahindra and Naval Tata. The council promotes ethical business conduct and aims to strengthen trust between businesses and consumers.
Instituted in 1989, the awards are evaluated across parameters such as customer satisfaction, employee engagement, environmental responsibility and corporate social responsibility.
The recognition highlights IHCL’s continued focus on governance frameworks and responsible business conduct within the hospitality sector.
