American Airlines Introduces Centennial Amenity Kits and Pajamas
New Onboard Products Mark 100 Years of Airline Service
American Airlines has introduced a range of limited-edition onboard products, including amenity kits and pyjamas, to mark its 100-year milestone. The new items will be available across premium cabins starting in April.
The centennial amenity kits are designed around three themes—Astrojet, Silverbird and Forward—each reflecting a different phase in its history. The designs incorporate distinct visual elements linked to these periods while maintaining a consistent onboard experience.

Each kit includes a selection of travel essentials such as eye masks, socks, dental kits and skincare items. The contents vary by cabin, with additional items included in Flagship First and Business offerings.
Pajamas and Updated Amenities Introduced Across Premium Cabins

Alongside the kits, it is introducing limited-edition pyjamas featuring a refreshed design and subtle branding tied to the same three themes. Updated closed-toe slippers will also be introduced based on passenger feedback.
These products will be available on select long-haul routes, including flights to Asia, the Middle East, India, Australia, and New Zealand.

The rollout of these items forms part of a broader set of initiatives marking the airline’s 100th year, including updated onboard services, themed aircraft liveries and curated inflight content highlighting its history.
