Hyatt Regency London Olympia Opens at Redeveloped Olympia Destination
Hyatt Regency London Olympia Adds 204 Rooms to West London Hospitality Market
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency London Olympia, located within the redeveloped Olympia destination in West London. The hotel becomes the fifth Hyatt Regency property in London, expanding the brand’s presence in the UK capital.
Situated within the £1.3 billion Olympia redevelopment, the hotel is directly opposite Kensington Olympia station, providing convenient access to central London, Heathrow Airport and attractions including Holland Park, Kensington Palace, the Design Museum and the Natural History Museum.

Guillaume Paupy, Area Vice President, Hyatt UK & Ireland, said the opening reflects Hyatt’s continued focus on growing its presence in key cities across the UK and Ireland while offering more accommodation choices for business and leisure travellers.
Heritage Building Reimagined
Hyatt Regency London Olympia is housed within Emberton House, a building originally opened in 1937 as a multi-storey car park. The property has been redesigned by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC, with interiors by London-based design studio twenty2degrees.
The design incorporates Art Deco influences alongside references to Olympia’s history. Artwork throughout the property highlights notable moments in the venue’s history, including its early exhibitions and performances.
Dining Experiences
The hotel offers three dining venues:
- 1937 Lounge & Bar for coffee, light meals and cocktails.
- The Market provides grab-and-go food and beverages.
- Idalia, an all-day restaurant located in the adjacent Grade II-listed Pillar Hall, serves modern British cuisine with European and Asian influences.
Rooms and Facilities
The property features 204 guestrooms and suites across 14 room categories. Rooms include dedicated workspaces, separate preparation areas and smart technology such as keyless entry and energy-efficient systems.
Guests also have access to an on-site fitness centre and a premium fitness studio within the Olympia complex. Nearby facilities include tennis courts and green spaces such as Holland Park.
Meetings and Events
Hyatt Regency London Olympia offers more than 900 square feet of flexible meeting and event space across three rooms. Guests also benefit from easy access to Olympia’s convention and exhibition facilities, which host conferences, exhibitions and live events throughout the year.

Georges Moura, General Manager of Hyatt Regency London Olympia, said the hotel has been designed to connect guests with the area’s business, cultural and entertainment offerings while providing a comfortable stay.
