IHCL Appoints Sakshi Sarmandal as Multi-Property Learning & Development Manager

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has appointed Sakshi Sarmandal as Multi-Property Learning & Development Manager. She is based in Indore.

Sakshi Sarmandal brings experience in learning and development, talent management, and training operations within the hospitality sector. In her current role, she will be responsible for driving learning strategies, managing training initiatives, and supporting capability development across multiple properties.

Prior to joining IHCL, Sakshi was associated with Machan Resorts LLP, where she held responsibilities in talent and culture, focusing on employee development, organisational culture, and performance management. She has also worked with JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu in learning and development and training roles, where she was involved in training programme design, learning management systems, and training needs analysis.

Earlier in her career, she was associated with Sayaji Hotels Ltd in Indore, where she handled cluster-level training responsibilities, including programme development and implementation. Her experience also includes roles with Taurus Sarovar Portico, The Pride Hotels, and academic and training assignments in hospitality education and skill development.

Sakshi’s areas of expertise include training needs analysis, instructional design, leadership development, and learning management systems.

In her new role at IHCL, Sakshi will focus on strengthening learning frameworks, supporting talent development initiatives, and aligning training strategies with business objectives.
