Hilton Reaches 100 Hotels Milestone in Saudi Arabia with $8 Billion Pipeline Investment
Hilton has announced it has surpassed the milestone of 100 hotels open or in the pipeline in Saudi Arabia. This represents a combined owner investment of approximately USD $8 billion. This announcement aligns with Hilton’s ongoing support of Saudi Vision 2030 through hospitality development, job creation, and community engagement.
Ahead of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Saudi Arabia, Hilton has announced its expansion across 14 of its global brands, adding more than 22,000 rooms to the Kingdom’s hospitality landscape. This development pipeline is expected to create over 15,000 jobs, with at least half of these positions designated for Saudi nationals.
Carlos Khneisser, Vice President, Development, Middle East & Africa, Hilton, said: “Saudi Arabia continues to demonstrate significant momentum in the travel and tourism sector. As we exceed 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline, we remain focused on introducing new brands and expanding into regional cities to meet the growing demand for quality hospitality options.”
Expanding Brand Portfolio and Regional Growth

Hilton is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia by diversifying its portfolio with several new projects across different regions. Upcoming openings include the Conrad Riyadh Laysen Valley, set to debut in 2026, as well as developments under the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR brands in Riyadh, Diriyah Gate, Madinah, and Al Ahsa.
Hilton is partnering with Rua Al Madinah Holding and Dan Co, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, to develop several properties, including new locations for Conrad and LXR Hotels & Resorts.
Lifestyle and Midscale Developments

Hilton is introducing Tempo by Hilton Riyadh Al Narjis, marking the brand’s debut in the Middle East & Africa. Scheduled to open in 2029, the property will feature 135 guest rooms and amenities designed for modern travellers.
Additional signings include Hijla Hotel Abha, Curio Collection by Hilton (2027), DoubleTree by Hilton Riyadh Al Narjis (2029), DoubleTree by Hilton Buraidah (2028), and Spark by Hilton Dammam.
Hilton’s growth also includes the upcoming Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah and Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Madinah, both developed in partnership with Al Musbah Group.
With 21 hotels currently operating and 83 under development, Hilton continues to expand its presence across key and emerging destinations in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the country’s long-term tourism and hospitality goals.
