New Executive Housekeeper Appointed at Novotel Hyderabad & HICC

APPOINTMENT

Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) have appointed Srinivas Chippala as Executive Housekeeper.

Chippala brings around 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with exposure to housekeeping operations, front office functions, resource and team management, and general administration.

His operational responsibilities have included guest rooms and public areas, laundry operations, linen and uniform management, pest control, horticulture, façade cleaning services, flower room operations, and coordination with housekeeping-related vendors.

Prior to joining Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC, he was associated with Hilton Embassy Golf Links, Bengaluru, where he worked as Executive Housekeeper from March 2024.

In this role, he managed the housekeeping operations of a 247-room hotel, led a team of 64 housekeeping associates, implemented departmental policies and SOPs, conducted operational and grooming training programmes, managed operational and laundry budgets, handled service contracts, coordinated recruitment, and worked closely with Front Office, Engineering, Finance and Purchase departments to ensure smooth operations and budget adherence.

Before this, Chippala was part of Novotel Vijayawada Varun (Accor Hotels) as Executive Housekeeper from December 2020 to March 2024. During this tenure, he was involved in the pre-opening phase of the hotel, handling activities such as snagging, OS&E coordination, capex and operational budgeting, recruitment, staff training, and implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures.

His earlier professional experience includes roles at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, Novotel Chennai SIPCOT (pre-opening), Radisson Hyderabad Hi-Tech City and The Park Hyderabad.
