Emirates Marks Valentine’s Day with Onboard Treats and Lounge Experiences

Emirates is marking Valentine’s Day with themed desserts, curated beverages, and entertainment offerings across its cabins and lounges.

Celebrating in the Air

Emirates Celebrates Valentine’s Day in the Air

On 14 February, customers travelling in Economy and Premium Economy Class will receive a mini gift box containing a raspberry chocolate brownie, accompanied by soft red cabin lighting. Customers in First and Business Class will be served chocolate brownies and mini raspberry ganache tarts decorated with heart motifs.

On selected Airbus A380 aircraft, the Onboard Lounge will feature sweet options including lemon and raspberry cupcakes, profiteroles, and mini tarts.

First Class customers will be welcomed with a glass of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009, while Business Class customers will be offered Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial as part of the Valentine’s Day service.

Valentine’s Offerings in Lounges

From 13 to 15 February, Emirates Lounges in Dubai will present themed desserts and beverages. First Class customers can enjoy items such as raspberry vanilla cake, pistachio strawberry cake, and red velvet cake, along with cocktails and mocktails, including Love Potion and Whispered Hearts. Champagne will be paired with canapés, including marinated lobster en feuilleté and truffle cream éclat.

Business Class customers will have access to desserts such as red berries, crunchy cake, strawberry and pistachio tart, raspberry choux, and strawberry cheesecake ice cream or raspberry and rose sorbet from the ice cream cart.

Across Emirates Lounges worldwide, local teams will introduce Valentine’s-themed dishes, including heart-shaped ravioli in Rome, cupcakes in Cairo, and chocolate-dipped strawberries in Sri Lanka.

Entertainment with a Romantic Theme

Onboard entertainment system Emirates ice will feature a curated selection of romantic films and series. The ‘Love Stories’ collection includes titles such as 10 Things I Hate About You, The Notebook, Notting Hill and the Bridget Jones collection.

The ‘Period Dramas’ section includes Sense and Sensibility and Pride & Prejudice, while fans of Korean dramas can watch Guardian: The Lonely and Great God and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.

Passengers can also listen to themed playlists, including Spotify’s Valentine’s Day Love Mixtape and Emirates’ Romantic Moments collection on ice.

Through these cabins, lounges, and entertainment offerings, Emirates is incorporating seasonal elements into the travel experience for customers flying on Valentine’s Day.
