Courtyard by Marriott Gorakhpur Appoints Dayanand Pal as Associate Director of Engineering

Courtyard by Marriott Gorakhpur has appointed Dayanand Pal as Associate Director of Engineering.

In his new role, Dayanand will oversee engineering operations at the property, including maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. His responsibilities include implementing preventive maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing vendor relationships, and supporting asset management initiatives.

Dayanand Pal brings nearly two decades of experience in hotel engineering and infrastructure management within the hospitality sector. His expertise includes preventive maintenance planning, energy management, and regulatory compliance.

He has previously worked with global hospitality brands such as Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, holding roles including Chief Engineer and Deputy Chief Engineer.

Dayanand’s experience includes assignments at properties such as JW Marriott Aerocity New Delhi and Hyatt Regency Amritsar, where he managed large-scale engineering operations.

In his current role, he will focus on maintaining system efficiency, supporting sustainability initiatives, and ensuring uninterrupted operations across the property’s infrastructure.

The appointment reflects the hotel’s focus on strengthening engineering leadership and maintaining operational standards.
