APPOINTMENT
Clarks Collection has appointed Rajesh Ranjan as the Area General Manager. Ranjan has over 16 years of experience working for numerous hotel groups, including the Taj, Piccadilly, Tulip Inn, St. Laurn, Berggruen Pvt. Ltd. (Keys Hotel), and Lords.

As the region’s general manager, Ranjan will oversee all management contract properties in Rajasthan. He will also look for new properties to sign and forge successful strategic partnerships. Ranjan used to work as the general manager of Birgunj, Nepal’s Clarks Resort. His duties included overseeing eateries, IRD, several banquets, constructing sturdy infrastructure, marketing, hiring, and staff development.
Ranjan said on his appointment, “I am thrilled and proud to be a part of Clark’s legacy, and I understand the expectations that come with this role. Clarks, as a brand, has expansion plans and wants to increase its presence globally. Nepal is our first step towards achieving that dream. I am looking forward to making a concrete contribution that results in the signing of more properties, reaching new markets, and managing the profitability of the properties. Also, I understand the importance of proper checks and quality control measures, keeping this in mind many new processes, and initiatives, will be implemented in the coming days.”
