Avani+ Fares Maldives named Best Beach Resort at TTM Awards 2025
Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort has been named Best Beach Resort at the Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) Awards 2025. This marks the resort’s second recognition at the event, following its win as Best Dive Resort in 2024. The announcement was made on 28 August in Malé. Winners of the annual TTM Awards are selected through a public vote, as well as votes from travel trade professionals and tour operators.
Located on the island of Fares in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the resort offers beachfront villas and residences designed for couples, families and groups. Accommodation includes Beach Pool Villas with private pools and Two Bedroom Beach Pool Villas with direct beach access.
Judd Rabbidge, General Manager of Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort, said: “We are pleased to receive this recognition for the second year. The award reflects the natural setting of Baa Atoll and the efforts of our team in shaping guest experiences.”
Since opening in 2023, Avani+ Fares has expanded its offerings to include 176 villas, pavilions, and studios, along with activities such as watersports, wellness programmes, cultural performances, and dining at seven restaurants, including Petit Bistro, a kids-only venue.
