APPOINTMENT
Viceroy Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Shel Buhler as Vice President, Food & Beverage.
In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing the brand’s global food and beverage strategy. Shel brings nearly two decades of experience across brand development, multi-outlet operations, and premium spirits marketing.
Prior to joining Viceroy, she served as Head of Brand Strategy & Communications at Aparium Hotels, where she worked on the expansion of the company’s portfolio, which includes more than a dozen hotels and over 25 independently branded restaurants and bars across the United States.
Her previous experience include leadership roles with renowned properties incuding Thompson Hotels, Joie de Vivre, Destination Hotels, and Alila, where she focused on the integration of culinary experiences within broader brand and guest experience strategies.
Shel is also a candidate for the Executive Master of Management in Hospitality at Cornell University. Her appointment comes during a period of continued portfolio expansion for the brand as it advances its focus on culture-driven guest experiences across its global properties.
