Air India Group to Present Upgraded Cabin Products at SATTE 2026
Air India and Air India Express will showcase their upgraded cabin products and refreshed onboard offerings at SATTE 2026, scheduled from 25–27 February 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The participation will give travel trade partners and visitors an opportunity to closely examine the progress made under the Air India group’s transformation programme.
At the Air India pavilion, visitors will be able to explore the airline’s redesigned Business Class seat installed on the Airbus A320neo and its Premium Economy seat featured on the Airbus A350. The display will focus on cabin upgrades across the fleet, including updated seating, revised cabin interiors, modern finishes and improved onboard amenities. A dedicated Virtual Reality (VR) zone will also offer an immersive walkthrough of the Airbus A350 experience.
Air India Express, participating at SATTE for the first time, will present its expanding network, which now covers 45 domestic and 17 international destinations across South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Gulf. Through interactive digital installations, the airline will highlight its Boeing 737-8 line-fit aircraft equipped with upgraded cabins, as well as its ‘Gourmair’ hot meal service concept.

Manish Puri, Head of Global Sales, Air India group, said SATTE 2026 provides an important opportunity for the group to engage with travel partners across India and South Asia and to collaborate on future growth and connectivity initiatives.
The aircraft cabins displayed at the event reflect ongoing investments in product upgrades across both domestic and international operations.
Air India Express currently operates a fleet of more than 100 aircraft. In December 2025, it inducted its first fully customised line-fit aircraft into its fleet as part of its fleet modernisation plan. At present, two-thirds of the airline’s fleet comprises Boeing 737-8 and Airbus A320/321neo aircraft, offering improved fuel efficiency and updated onboard features.

In 2026, Air India is expected to receive six additional line-fit aircraft, including a mix of Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A350-1000 models. The airline recently took delivery of its first line-fit Boeing 787-9, which will gradually align with the updated cabin standard planned for the wider Boeing 787 fleet. Meanwhile, Air India has also begun retrofitting its legacy Boeing 787-8 aircraft, with 26 aircraft scheduled for cabin upgrades and repainting in the airline’s new livery.
SATTE 2026 serves as a platform for both airlines to strengthen engagement with travel trade partners, showcase product enhancements and reinforce their long-term focus on connectivity and operational development across domestic and international markets.
