Air India Launches Cloud Chasers Programme for Young Travellers
Air India Introduces Cloud Chasers to Improve Family Travel Experience
Air India has launched ‘Cloud Chasers’, a new programme aimed at making air travel more engaging and comfortable for children and families. The initiative brings together the airline’s child-focused products and services under one platform, designed to add more fun and convenience to family journeys.
The launch comes as family travel continues to grow steadily, encouraging airlines to create experiences that better cater to children and parents during their journeys.

As part of the programme, Air India has introduced a refreshed version of its Maharaja mascot. The new avatar appears as a young and adventurous companion for children and will feature across several touchpoints, including onboard activity kits and First Flight Certificates.
New Onboard Experiences for Children
Children between the ages of three and nine travelling on long-haul and ultra-long-haul flights lasting over eight hours will receive specially designed activity kits. These kits include puzzles, games, drawing activities, and interactive prompts, all themed around the Cloud Chasers concept.
Air India has also updated its First Flight Certificates, which are given to children travelling for the first time. Signed by the captain and crew, the redesigned certificates are intended to serve as keepsakes for young flyers. Parents can request the certificates during the journey.

The airline’s inflight entertainment system, Vista, now features a dedicated Kids Zone offering more than 130 hours of content. Passengers can also access additional children’s programming through Vista Stream on personal devices. The content includes animated series, educational programmes, games and audio stories developed in collaboration with partners such as Moonbug and Vobble.
Interactive features, including Kids Maps, are also available onboard, along with games such as UNO, Angry Birds, Chess, and Ludo Race.
Services for Families Travelling with Children
The Cloud Chasers programme also includes several services designed to make travel easier for families. These include priority boarding for families with children, priority check-in support where operationally possible, infant meals and bassinet seats on select routes.
Air India stated that the initiative marks the beginning of a broader plan to continue enhancing the travel experience for families flying with the airline.
