Air India Group to Operate 24 Flights Between India and West Asia Today
Scheduled and Additional Services Cover Jeddah, Muscat and UAE Routes
Air India and Air India Express are operating a total of 24 scheduled and non-scheduled flights between India and the West Asia region today, 24 March 2026.
Both airlines are continuing their scheduled services to and from Jeddah, with 10 flights operating between India and the Saudi Arabian city. Air India is operating one return service each from Delhi and two return services from Mumbai, while Air India Express is operating one flight each from Hyderabad and Kozhikode.
Air India Express is also operating four scheduled flights to and from Muscat, including services from Delhi and Mumbai.
Additional Non-Scheduled Flights to UAE

In addition to scheduled operations, the two airlines are operating 10 non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). These flights are subject to slot availability and operational conditions at the departure airport. All services are operating with the required approvals from the relevant Indian and local authorities.

All Air India flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia and other regions continue to operate as per schedule.
Passengers booked on routes where services remain temporarily suspended can rebook for a later date without additional charges or opt for a full refund.
Passenger Support and Rebooking Options
Air India passengers can submit rebooking or cancellation requests through the airline’s website or contact the 24/7 customer support centre.
Air India Express passengers travelling from UAE stations can rebook without additional charges on alternative flights operated by the airline from any UAE location to destinations in India.
The airline group is also contacting affected passengers via registered mobile numbers with rebooking options. Travellers are advised to ensure their contact details are up to date.
Air India Express passengers can also use the airline’s digital assistant, Tia, available on WhatsApp, for rebooking assistance.
Additional Flights Under Consideration
Air India and Air India Express are reviewing the possibility of operating further non-scheduled flights to and from West Asia, subject to operational conditions and approvals.
