The Standard, Brussels has appointed Jean-Philippe De Haes as General Manager, marking a new chapter in the property’s leadership.

In his new role, De Haes will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences, driving operational excellence, strengthening commercial performance, and leading team development initiatives.

De Haes brings over 25 years of international hospitality experience, having worked across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles with leading global hotel groups including Accor, Hilton, and Marriott International.

His extensive experience spans hotel operations, guest engagement, revenue management, and organisational leadership, positioning him to guide the property’s continued growth and market positioning.
