APPOINTMENT
Ashis Chattopadhyay has been appointed as Cluster Director of Finance at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar.
In this role, Chattopadhyay will oversee the finance function for eight Marriott hotels operated under Chalet Hotels Limited. His responsibilities include financial strategy, governance, compliance, and performance management across the cluster.
Chattopadhyay has over two decades of professional experience spanning audit, advisory, and hospitality finance. He began his career with Deloitte, where he worked in audit and advisory services. Over the years, he has held senior finance roles with hospitality groups including Four Seasons, Hyatt, COMO Group, and Marriott International, with a focus on financial operations, internal controls, and process improvement.
Prior to his current appointment, he served as Multi-Property Director of Finance for Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway and Four Points Kochi, Infopark. During his career, he has also received regional and market-level recognition for initiatives related to finance transformation and technology adoption in South Asia.
Based at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Chattopadhyay will work closely with leadership teams across the portfolio to support structured financial management and team development within the cluster.
