APPOINTMENT
Chinmaya Chikkamath has been appointed as the General Manager of The Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas.
He brings more than 17 years of experience with Marriott International, having worked across several hotels in India in operational and leadership roles.
He began his career in hotel operations and has held multiple leadership positions within the Marriott portfolio. His previous assignments include serving as Director of Rooms at JW Marriott Hotel Pune and Director of Operations at Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi, where he supported service standards and operational processes. In March 2023, he was appointed as General Manager at Marriott Suites Pune.
In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s overall operations and team leadership.
