Emirates Prepares for Expanded Presence at Dubai Airshow 2025
Emirates is preparing for a prominent presence at the Dubai Airshow 2025, where it will present a range of new products and technologies that highlight the future direction of air travel.
The airline will showcase all three types of commercial aircraft in its fleet: the Airbus A380, Boeing 777, and the newly introduced Airbus A350. Additionally, the Emirates Flight Training Academy’s (EFTA) Gamebird GB1 and Diamond DA42-VI aircraft will be included in the static display throughout the event.
Introducing new technology concepts
At the Dubai Airshow, the Emirates exhibition stand will showcase emerging technologies designed to enhance the travel experience. This includes the Smart Corridor, a biometric gateway that verifies passenger identity in real time without the need for passports or boarding passes. The stand will also showcase the new Biometric Selfie Registration feature available on the Emirates App.
Emirates will demonstrate its AI-enhanced customer handling concept, developed using NVIDIA AI infrastructure. Through IoT cameras positioned at airport entry points, the system can identify Emirates customers and provide real-time information to airport teams. The aim is to support improved operational efficiency and a more personalised travel experience. The concept will first be tested at the Emirates First Class Check-in Area in Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), followed by wider rollout to Emirates Lounges.
The airline will also present its Smart Skies Turbulence Management system, a multi-layered approach designed to manage turbulence more effectively, thereby supporting flight safety, comfort, and operational planning.
Upcycling with purpose

Emirates Engineering will showcase new items from its ‘Aircrafted by Emirates’ initiative. The Atelier Collection introduces pieces such as the Morphing Coffee Table, while the Maintenance Collection includes prototypes like the Tricycle, the Mechanic Apron, and the Tool Belt. These items are crafted from repurposed aviation materials for functional use by Emirates Engineering teams.
Select pieces from earlier Aircrafted collections—popular among aviation enthusiasts and collectors—will also be displayed. The Aircrafted KIDS – Fabric Collection charity initiative has distributed more than 3,700 backpacks to schoolchildren across Africa and Asia. In addition, Aircrafted by Emirates – The Leather Collection offers a range of travel bags available through The Emirates Official Store.
The display will also feature sustainably sourced onboard items, including Business Class loungewear made from botanic fibres, VOYA comfort and beauty essentials, and Economy Class blankets produced from recycled plastic bottles.
Dubai Airshow 2025
The event will take place at Dubai World Central from 17 to 21 November 2025 under the theme ‘The Future is Here’. It will bring together visitors, manufacturers, and industry leaders to exchange insights, explore sector trends, and experience new developments in aviation and aerospace.
Emirates will participate in the opening flying display on the first afternoon of the airshow with a fly-past featuring the Airbus A350, A380, and Boeing 777, alongside other UAE-based commercial airlines.
