JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has announced the appointment of Varun Suden as the new Director of Operations.
In this strategic leadership role, Varun Suden will lead and oversee all aspects of hotel operations, enhancing guest experiences across every sector. With a proven track record in luxury hospitality and a commitment to operational efficiency, Varun’s appointment reinforces the hotel’s ongoing pursuit of service distinction and innovation
Varun holds extensive experience of over 19 years, bringing skills derived from his previous tenures at popular hospitality names such as Marriott International, Accor Hotels and The Leela.
Varun began his career in the hospitality industry within the Food & Beverage division, where he gained experience in luxury dining operations and guest services. He later moved into a managerial position as Restaurant Manager – Food & Beverage at Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon.
Following this, Varun shifted focus to the Front Office department, taking on a series of progressively senior roles. He is now serving as the Director of Rooms, where he oversees front office and housekeeping operations.
At JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Varun will bring his expertise in revenue management, cost management control, reporting and market share growth. As the Director of Operations, he will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences.
As Director of Operations at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Varun will oversee multiple departments to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning across the hotel. His responsibilities will include streamlining operational workflows, maintaining service consistency, and supporting cross-functional coordination. He will also focus on strengthening stakeholder relationships and aligning departmental efforts with the hotel’s strategic goals.
Varun’s cross-functional background is expected to support operational continuity and contribute to the hotel’s ongoing business priorities.
