Australasia to bring its biggest delegation yet to WTM London 2025

WTM London, a major travel and tourism event organized by RX, has named Britain’s national tourism agency, VisitBritain, as its premier partner for 2025. The partnership reflects a closer collaboration between WTM London and the UK Government, which has set a target to increase international visitor numbers to 50 million annually by 2030, up from nearly 43 million in 2024.

Patricia Yates, CEO of VisitBritain, said: “WTM London is a key global travel trade event, and we are pleased to be this year’s premier partner. We look forward to showcasing the UK’s tourism offerings, hospitality, and capability to host international events.”

Chris Carter-Chapman, Event Director at WTM London, added: “We are glad to welcome Britain as Premier Partner. The event offers VisitBritain a platform to connect with global travel professionals and support the UK Government’s goal of attracting more international visitors.”

During the event, VisitBritain will highlight its ‘Starring GREAT Britain’ screen tourism campaign, promoting destinations linked to films and TV shows to encourage visits. Research shows that most potential visitors are interested in exploring film and TV locations during their trips.

The partnership also strengthens Britain’s presence at WTM London, with VisitBritain collaborating with UKinbound at stand N8-220 to connect tourism suppliers and destinations with international travel trade.

Last year, WTM London hosted over 40,000 travel professionals, with 82% from overseas, contributing to inbound tourism growth. The event supports the broader UK events and exhibitions industry, which adds £11.5 billion to the economy.

WTM London 2025 will take place from Tuesday, 4 November to Thursday, 6 November at ExCeL London.
