Emirates Distributes ‘Aircrafted KIDS’ Backpacks to 834 Children in Jordan
As part of its commitment to supporting Jordanian youth and education, Emirates has distributed 834 handcrafted backpacks with essential school supplies through its ‘Aircrafted KIDS’ initiative. The backpacks were provided to four organisations across Jordan, including SOS Children’s Villages, Madrasati Initiative, Jewels, and Al-Hussein Social Foundation Society.
The initiative provides students with learning essentials, reinforcing Emirates’ ongoing support for the communities it serves.
Mohammad Bin Hafiz, Emirates’ Country Manager for Jordan and the West Bank, said: “Education is a key driver of progress. Through Aircrafted KIDS, we aim to help children access resources needed to build a foundation for learning and personal growth.”
Tala Sweis, Madrasati Director, added: “These backpacks carry a message of hope and learning, inspiring students and supporting their educational journey.”
Areej Khatib, SOS Children’s Villages Fund Development and Communications Director, noted: “A school bag holds more than books; it represents the start of a child’s educational path and their aspirations for the future.”
The backpacks are part of Emirates’ upcycled ‘Aircrafted by Emirates’ collection, handmade by the airline’s engineering team using over 50,000 kg of reclaimed materials from Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft undergoing cabin refurbishments.

The launch of Aircrafted KIDS in Jordan is part of a broader initiative that has positively impacted more than 3,700 children across 10 countries, including Egypt, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India. This program utilizes Emirates’ global reach to offer educational support and opportunities for young people.
