Wonderla Launches Terrea Urban Resort in Bengaluru After ₹18 Crore Revamp
Terrea by Wonderla Resort Introduced with Redesigned Spaces and Staycation Focus
Wonderla Holidays Ltd. has launched Terrea, an urban resort located next to its amusement park in Bengaluru. The property marks the redevelopment of the earlier Wonderla Resort, following an eight-month refurbishment programme that invested approximately ₹18 crore.
The earlier property functioned primarily as accommodation for park visitors. The updated Terrea has been repositioned to cater to a wider mix of guests, including families, corporate groups and staycation travellers in the city.

The resort features 84 redesigned rooms across three themes — Botanic Chic, Urban Pop and Coastal Modern — with each level offering a distinct layout and design approach. Food and beverage offerings include Woods, an all-day dining restaurant, along with a poolside bar.
The property also includes a temperature-controlled swimming pool and an in-house water feature, the Caribbean Whirl. Event facilities have been developed to host weddings, corporate gatherings and social functions.
Located within walking distance of Wonderla Bengaluru, the resort offers integrated park-and-stay options for visitors. Sustainability measures have been incorporated into the design, including the use of clay panelling, lava stone surfaces, eco-friendly materials and handcrafted lighting sourced from artisans in North East India.
The design, developed by Muse n Aura Designs, follows an “Earthen Luxe” approach, focusing on natural materials, layered textures and spatial elements inspired by terrain and light.

Arun K. Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Wonderla Holidays Ltd., said the launch forms part of the company’s broader plan to expand its hospitality presence alongside its amusement parks.
Dheeran Choudhary, Chief Operating Officer, added that the refurbishment focused on upgrading guest-facing areas while retaining the existing structural layout, allowing investment to be directed towards rooms, dining spaces and leisure facilities.
Terrea joins The Isle by Wonderla, a separate hospitality offering within the Bengaluru campus. While The Isle is positioned as a quieter retreat, Terrea is designed to cater to a range of travel occasions, including short stays, group visits and events.
