Marriott Bonvoy Updates KrisFlyer Conversion Rate and Transfer Cap

Marriott Bonvoy and KrisFlyer Partnership Introduces New Conversion Rate and Higher Cap

Marriott Bonvoy has introduced changes to its partnership with Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, including an updated conversion rate for miles to points and an increase in the annual transfer limit. The changes came into effect on 1 April 2026 and are now part of the programme’s ongoing benefits.

Under the revised structure, members converting KrisFlyer miles to Marriott Bonvoy points will receive 3 points per 4 KrisFlyer miles. This replaces the earlier rate of 2 miles to 1 point.

The annual transfer cap has also been increased from 180,000 KrisFlyer miles to 250,000 miles per member. At the revised rate, members can convert up to 187,500 Marriott Bonvoy points per calendar year, up from 90,000 previously.

For example, a transfer of 10,000 miles will now convert to 7,500 Marriott Bonvoy points, up from 5,000 under the previous rate.

These changes allow members to convert miles into points at a higher rate and increase the number of points that can be accumulated through transfers each year. Points can be redeemed across Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of hotels and resorts, subject to availability.
