Vivanta Opens Hotel in Vrindavan
IHCL Expands Presence in Spiritual Travel Destinations
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has opened Vivanta Vrindavan, marking the brand’s entry into one of India’s key spiritual destinations.

Located in the city centre, close to major temples and landmarks, the 135-room hotel is positioned to cater to travellers visiting Vrindavan for religious and cultural experiences.

Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President – New Businesses and Hotel Openings at IHCL, said that spiritual destinations across India continue to see steady travel demand, with Vrindavan remaining an important part of this segment. She added that the new hotel supports IHCL’s presence in such locations, offering a stay aligned with the destination’s character.
Dining, Facilities and Guest Offerings
Vivanta Vrindavan features multiple dining options, including Mynt, an all-day vegetarian restaurant serving a mix of global and regional cuisine, and Swirl, a lobby café offering beverages and light bites. Guests can also access Wink, a poolside bar, and Tease, an outdoor area with refreshments.
The hotel includes a spa, fitness centre and an open-air infinity pool. It also offers banquet halls and meeting spaces designed for social events, gatherings and business functions.

Saurabh Mitra, General Manager, Vivanta Vrindavan, said the hotel has been designed to reflect the local character of the destination, with a focus on service and guest experience.
Vrindavan is known for its religious and cultural landmarks, including Shri Banke Bihari Mandir, Prem Mandir, ISKCON Temple, Radha Vallabh Mandir, and Shri Krishna Janmasthan, as well as other sites such as Nidhivan and Raman Reti.
