Mews Named a Leader in IDC MarketScape 2026 Revenue Management Assessment
Mews has been recognised as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Revenue Management Systems in Hospitality 2026 Vendor Assessment.
The recognition highlights Mews’ approach to combining property management, revenue management and business intelligence capabilities within a single hospitality platform.
The IDC MarketScape evaluates technology vendors based on current capabilities and long-term strategy, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative assessment criteria.
Revenue Management Platform Launched in 2026
Mews RMS was launched in May 2026 as the revenue management component of the Mews Operating System.
The solution was developed using technology and expertise from Atomize, a Swedish revenue management company acquired by Mews in 2024 and later integrated into its platform.
The system is designed to help hotels manage pricing, reservations and performance data within a unified environment.
Unified Platform Combines PMS, RMS and Business Intelligence
One of the key features highlighted in the assessment is the integration of:
- Property Management System (PMS)
- Revenue Management System (RMS)
- Business Intelligence (BI)
Traditionally, these functions have operated across separate systems, often requiring hotels to transfer information between multiple platforms.
Mews combines these capabilities within a single data model, allowing pricing, reservations and operational information to work together in real time.
Real-Time Pricing Adjustments
According to the company, the RMS pricing engine recalculates room rates approximately every five minutes.
This results in around 288 pricing updates per property each day based on changing booking patterns and live demand data.
The system uses real-time reservation and occupancy information to support pricing decisions, helping hotels respond more quickly to market changes.
Automation Supports Revenue Management Teams
Mews stated that approximately 70 percent of its RMS customers currently operate with the system’s Autopilot feature enabled.
The feature allows automated pricing adjustments while still providing revenue managers with explanations behind pricing recommendations.
The company says this approach helps reduce manual administrative tasks while allowing teams to focus on strategic commercial decisions.
Recognition Highlights Technology Integration
IDC noted that Mews’ unified technology architecture provides direct access to live operational data rather than relying on synchronised copies from separate systems.
The research organisation indicated that this structure can improve pricing responsiveness, analytics accuracy and operational efficiency for hospitality businesses.
Building on Previous Industry Recognition
The latest recognition follows another achievement for Mews in 2025 when the company was also named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape Worldwide Hospitality Property Management Systems assessment.
The company believes these recognitions reflect the increasing demand for integrated hospitality technology platforms that combine operations, revenue management and business intelligence into a single ecosystem.
As hotels continue to focus on automation and data-driven decision-making, Mews plans to further develop its platform capabilities to support revenue optimisation and operational efficiency across the hospitality sector.
