Treetop Zanbreeze Zanzibar by Eight Continents has announced the appointment of Afshan Jivraj as the new General Manager.

Afshan brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, with a background in food and beverage operations. She has held key leadership roles with international hotel brands such as Jumeirah, Armani Hotels, Marriott International, and Park Hyatt.

Her career includes experience in restaurant management, hotel pre-opening projects, and event operations across diverse markets.

With a strong foundation in Swiss education and holding globally recognized certifications, Afshan combines operational expertise with an understanding of international service standards.

She will be responsible for leading all aspects of the resort’s operations, ensuring service quality, team development, and business growth aligned with the Eight Continents brand.
