Hyatt to Introduce The Unbound Collection Brand in Thailand with The Barai Hua Hin and Narai Hotel

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that a Hyatt affiliate has signed management agreements with Chai Talay Hotel Co., Ltd and Narai Hotel Company Limited for The Barai Hua Hin and Narai Hotel. These two properties will mark the debut of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand. They will join Hyatt’s portfolio in the country, which currently includes 15 properties across seven brands: Park Hyatt, Andaz, The Standard, The StandardX, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and Hyatt Place.
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is built on the idea that every property has its own story. Each hotel in the collection is designed to deliver distinctive experiences, whether shaped by heritage, architectural vision, or cultural inspiration.

“We are pleased to introduce The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand with two unique properties in Hua Hin and Bangkok,” said David Udell, group president, Asia Pacific, Hyatt.
“This represents an important step in our growth in Thailand and the wider Asia Pacific region, reflecting our focus on experiences that resonate with today’s travellers.”
The Barai Hua Hin is scheduled to open in late 2026, adjacent to Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. The resort will feature 90 rooms and suites, a destination spa with 18 treatment rooms and eight residential spa suites, a wellness centre, a pool oasis, gardens, and two restaurants: McFarland House and The White House. Designed by Thai architect Lek Bunnag, the spa draws inspiration from the four elements of traditional Thai healing philosophy—earth, water, wind, and fire. Hua Hin, located about three hours from Bangkok by car, is recognized for its beaches, cultural charm, and family-friendly environment.

Narai Hotel is expected to reopen under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in 2028. Located in Silom, Bangkok, the hotel continues the legacy of the original Narai Hotel established in 1968. The 250-room property will be part of Hatai, a mixed-use development designed by Heatherwick Studio, featuring dining, retail, and community spaces. The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop restaurant, lounge, fitness centre, pool, and flexible meeting and event spaces. It is located close to Chong Nonsi BTS station and within reach of key business, embassy, and leisure areas along the Chao Phraya River.
