Regent Bali Canggu Opens on the Shores of Canggu

The first Regent property in Indonesia, Regent Bali Canggu, is now open on the shores of Canggu, positioned between the Indian Ocean and Balinese rice terraces. The resort offers a balance of relaxation and activity, designed for guests to enjoy the coastal landscape and the surrounding natural environment.

The resort features 150 rooms and suites, many with direct lagoon access, and six dining venues, including two restaurants led by chef Andrew Walsh. Rooms provide ocean or garden views, and several offer private beachfront access. The design, by WATG Architects, with interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates and landscapes by John Pettigrew, draws inspiration from Balinese villages and rice paddies.

Regent Bali Canggu introduces the first Regent Spa, created with IHG’s in-house wellness consultants, Raison d’Etre, offering a range of treatments including Balinese-inspired scrubs, wraps, and massages. Hydro-wellness facilities feature a vitality pool, ice baths, and saunas, complemented by a 24/7 health club and yoga studio.

The resort’s six dining options offer a range of culinary experiences, from Balinese to Asian to international cuisine. Sazón offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes, while Cure Bali, opening in early 2026, combines Asian influences with Indonesian seasonal produce. Additional venues include Taru, a Beach House, Pool Bar, and Lounge.

Regent Bali Canggu is supported by Regent Experience Agents, who assist guests with check-ins, reservations, and activity planning. The resort also features Personal Havens, which allow guests to customize their in-room environment, including food, drink, scent, and sound, and Regent With Compliments, a program removing small surcharges and offering additional guest conveniences.

As part of IHG’s Regent portfolio, the property joins other global locations, including Regent Hong Kong, Regent Shanghai on the Bund, Regent Santa Monica Beach, and Regent Phu Quoc, with a broader pipeline of planned properties in key cities and resort destinations.
