Radisson Hotel Group Opens Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels
Radisson Hotel Group has opened Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, a new property located on the National Golf Brussels course, 15 minutes from the city centre. This marks the brand’s second Radisson Collection property in Belgium and reflects its focus on design, responsible hospitality, and curated guest experiences in key European locations.
Set in a green environment, the hotel combines contemporary design with subtle detailing. The interiors of guest rooms and public areas were created by Belgian architect Olivier Dwek, featuring natural textures, soft tones, and modern craftsmanship. Wooden staircases, organic materials, and warm finishes generate a connection with the surrounding landscape.
The hotel offers 150 rooms, including 30 suites and 12 junior suites, many with private terraces and views of the golf course and rolling hills.
The on-site restaurant, Stoke Grill House & Brasserie, designed by Will Erens, includes a bar and outdoor terrace and is open to both locals and hotel guests for lunches and dinners.
Focus on Responsible Design
The hotel’s landscaping, designed by Bas Smets, emphasizes integration with the surrounding area. Locally sourced materials, energy-efficient systems, and open green spaces form part of the development.
It is the first international hotel in Belgium to use geothermal heating and cooling. A large geothermal plant with multiple aquifer wells provides temperature regulation. Water-to-water heat pumps are also used, achieving higher efficiency and lower environmental impact than traditional systems.

Golf Facilities
The 18-hole championship course, designed by architect Bruno Steensels, spans 6 km and is open to hotel guests. Practice facilities, putting greens, and a 6-hole compact course are available for players of all levels.
Wellness Access
Guests have full access to David Lloyd Sterrebeek, a nearby wellness centre offering indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, fitness classes, and tennis courts.

Meetings and Events
The hotel includes eight meeting rooms, a divisible conference hall, and a rooftop event space with views of the golf course. It can host up to 380 seated guests for events ranging from corporate meetings to private gatherings.
Location
Situated east of Brussels’ city centre, the hotel provides access to cultural and historic sites such as the Grand Place, Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries, Magritte Museum, and Sonian Forest. The suburb of Sterrebeek offers quieter surroundings, shopping, and nature escapes.

A Milestone for Radisson Hotel Group
The opening coincides with the 35th anniversary of Radisson Hotel Group’s global headquarters in Brussels. As the only major international hotel group headquartered in Belgium, the company remains an active participant in the local community and economy.
