PATA Invites Entries for PATA Gold Awards 2026
Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has opened the call for entries for the PATA Gold Awards 2026, inviting tourism organisations and professionals from across the Asia Pacific region to participate. The awards programme recognizes achievements across a wide range of sectors within the travel and tourism industry.
Commenting on the launch, Noor Ahmad Hamid, Chief Executive Officer of PATA, said the awards continue to reflect the association’s long-standing focus on quality, integrity, and industry recognition. He noted that the programme’s independent judging process evaluates entries based on impact, clarity of ideas, and measurable outcomes. He also acknowledged the continued support of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), highlighting the value of the long-running collaboration.
Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of MGTO, said the awards provide a platform to share tourism initiatives and ideas with an international audience. She added that tourism plays an important role in Macao’s economy and that MGTO is pleased to continue working with PATA to support industry collaboration and long-term development.
Entering its 42nd edition in 2026, the PATA Gold Awards programme will continue to focus on two main categories: Marketing and Sustainability and Social Responsibility. These categories reflect key areas of activity within the tourism sector. This year, three new award titles have been added, bringing the total number of categories to 27, in response to evolving industry priorities.
The 2026 winners will be announced during the awards ceremony and gala dinner held alongside PATA Travel Mart 2026 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, on August 19, 2026.
Participants in the PATA Gold Awards 2026 will receive opportunities for professional exposure through PATA’s regional and international networks, media visibility across PATA platforms, and inclusion in the PATA Gold Awards 2026 Winners’ Showcase e-booklet and video. Award participants will also receive complimentary access to PATA Travel Mart 2026.
Entries are open from March 1 to May 15, 2026, until 11:59 PM (Bangkok time). A 50% early-bird discount is available for submissions made between March 1 and March 31, 2026.
