Orient Express Venezia has announced the appointment of Heinz Beck as the new Culinary Director.
A three Michelin-starred chef, Heinz Beck will oversee the gastronomic concept across Venetia Palazzo, working alongside the Beck & Maltese Consulting team.
In his new role, Heinz will curate and develop the culinary experiences throughout the property, including the signature fine-dining venue, casual dining spaces, and reception areas. His culinary approach focuses on technical precision, balanced flavors, and a refined interpretation of Mediterranean ingredients rooted in Italian culinary traditions.
The gastronomic offering will draw inspiration from the Venetian lagoon and the surrounding region, integrating local ingredients with contemporary culinary techniques.
The culinary program will unfold across multiple venues within the palazzo, including the signature restaurant Heinz Beck Venezia, the Venetian-inspired dining space La Casati, and the Wagon Bar, which takes inspiration from the historic era of luxury train travel associated with the Orient Express.
