Chalet Hotels Appoints New Executive Director

APPOINTMENT

Chalet Hotels Limited (CHL) has announced the appointment of Shwetank Singh as the new Executive Director, thereby welcoming him to the company’s board of directors. This significant decision follows a thorough evaluation and recommendation by the Compensation, Nomination, and Remuneration Committee, which oversees executive appointments and compensation matters. Shwetank Singh’s appointment is effective immediately and is set for a duration of three years, subject to approval by the company’s shareholders during the next meeting. This move aims to enhance the board’s expertise and strategic direction as CHL continues to expand its operations.

In his expanded role, Shwetank will continue to lead the projects, design, and business development functions while also spearheading the operations and asset management teams. Additionally, Shwetank will oversee CHL’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.

An alumnus of the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) with an MBA in Finance and Marketing, Shwetank has held key leadership positions at some of the best globally recognized organizations.
