Hikmat Singh Ayer Appointed as the Officiating CEO of Nepal Tourism Board

Hikmat Singh Ayer, Senior Director at the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), has been appointed as the Officiating Chief Executive Officer following a decision by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

In his new role, Ayer will oversee the Board’s day-to-day administration while continuing to guide NTB’s efforts in positioning Nepal as a leading global tourist destination.

With over 25 years of association with NTB, Ayer has led several key departments within the organisation. His experience spans tourism promotion, programme coordination, policy implementation, destination marketing, and participation in national and international tourism initiatives.

His appointment ensures continuity in leadership as the Board continues to strengthen Nepal’s presence in the global tourism landscape.
