Anantara to Open Resort and Residences in Turks and Caicos

Minor Hotels Expands Anantara Brand into Turks and Caicos
Minor Hotels has announced plans to introduce its Anantara brand to the Caribbean with the development of Anantara Turks and Caicos Resort & Residences. The property is scheduled to open in 2029 in North Caicos.
Located along the Sandy Point coastline, the development will include 78 branded residences, including beachfront villas available for private ownership. The project is being designed by Miami-based architecture and design firms RAD and Meyer Davis, with a focus on indoor-outdoor living inspired by the surrounding natural landscape.

North Caicos, often referred to as the “Garden Island”, is known for its quieter environment, beaches and natural setting. The project is positioned to respond to growing demand for branded residential developments in resort destinations across the Caribbean.
The resort will offer wellness and leisure facilities, including an Anantara Spa, yoga studios, a fitness centre, tennis and padel courts, water sports facilities and multiple swimming pools. The Minor Hotels property will also feature dining venues, a rooftop bar, a wine cellar and garden-led culinary experiences using ingredients sourced from on-site orchards and herb gardens.

Minor International Group CEO Dillip Rajakarier said the project marks Anantara’s entry into the Caribbean and forms part of the company’s wider expansion plans across the Americas. He added that North Caicos aligns with the group’s hospitality and sustainability approach.
Caroline Domange, CEO of Octans and part of the ownership team, said the project aims to reflect the character of North Caicos while offering residential and hospitality experiences connected to the island’s natural environment.
The Minor Hotels development will be accessible through Providenciales International Airport and North Caicos Airport, which is currently undergoing redevelopment. Residences at the property are already available for pre-sale.
